  • New Temporary All-Way Stop in Fullarton

    A temporary all-way stop had been installed at the intersection of Perth Road 163 and Perth Line 20 in Fullarton.

    The temporary traffic control measure is required to accommodate increased traffic volumes in the area resulting from ongoing construction of the new roundabout at Highway 23 and Perth Line 20 in Russeldale. The roundabout project is being led by the Ministry of Transportation (MTO).

  • Perth County and the Rotary Club of Stratford Celebrate Spring with Community Roadside Tree Planting

    PERTH COUNTY, ON – On Saturday, April 18, Perth County, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Stratford, completed an exciting roadside tree planting initiative. The project saw 189 new trees planted along a 4km portion of Perth Road 112 between Stratford and Harmony. County Staff, alongside over 60 volunteers from Rotary Club of Stratford and other community organizations took part in the event. The initiative contributes to Perth County’s ongoing efforts to enhance roadside safety, biodiversity, and climate resilience.

  • Perth County Council Approves 2026 Budget

    At the Regular Council Meeting on February 5, 2026, Perth County Council approved the 2026 Capital and Operating Budget.

    The 2026 budget represents an increase of $2,638,165 from last year. This amount represents an additional $89.24 annually per household which is $1.72 per week (based on average 2016 MPAC household value of $284,000). The approved budget represents an 8.75% increase to the annual budget. This amount incorporates the annual assessment growth for the County of 1.76%.
