We encourage you to come in and discuss your research with staff, or set up future appointments. You will likely be able to access microfilm and local history books but you will not have access to original records stored in the Collections Room without an appointment.

Stratford-Perth Archives Reading Room is also open for research by appointment Monday to Saturday from 10AM until 4PM

All appointments should be made at least one week in advance. Appointments on Mondays and Saturdays may need more than a week's notice to ensure staff availability. When booking your appointment, staff will conduct a detailed reference interview with you, via phone or email, to identify records relevant to your research. Materials will be brought to the Reading Room on the morning of your visit and will be waiting at your work station when you arrive.
